Poor Fermin. He drank too much Red Bull on the last Pet Stop, and now his four stomachs all hurt. He moos and moos into the night, disturbing the sleep of many of the competitors, but not Bella. Omara and Ibrahim try to help him feel better, and Joey and Larry prance around trying to take his mind off his stomach. Koko?
 
“Sad big cow. Big cow hurt. Koko love big cow. Koko love All Ball cat. Koko love skirt man. Koko love little horses.”
 
Bella and Dooglass, who were the first to arrive in Scotland last time, are the first to depart. Their clue: Lerwick is the site of the “Up Helly Aa” Viking festival in which participants drag a burning Viking longship through the streets. The Amanxing Racers will have to drag a non-burning proportionally sized Viking ship model 1000 yards to the next clue box.

Douglas starts pulling the ship while Bella tries to push it. It’s difficult for the cats, who are soon passed up by Herc and Maxx and Ernesto and a feeling-better Fermin.
 
Hercules reads the next clue: Take one of two ferries to Bergen, Norway, and go up then down Mount Floyen on the funicular to find the next route marker.

These three teams, joined by the donkeys, get on the first ferry. Bella and Douglas try to catch naps on the roof of a car; Omara explores the boat, Hercules and Maxx patrol to make sure nobody has fallen overboard; Ernesto and Fermin model Viking hats that someone has made for them. No horns needed!

The first ferry arrives in Bergen and the police dogs and donkeys find the funicular with some help from the locals.

At the top, the dogs and donkeys get the next clue: take a marked taxi to Troldhaugen, the home of the famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. They board the car for the trip down, with Hercules in the front seat.

The penguins get to the car seconds too late, and have to catch the next car down the mountain. They head down the mountain only to see the bulls, Bella and Douglas going up.

Back in Lerwick, Monty and Holly are neck in neck with Team Cuba, but get to the box first. They try to see if they can use the Royal Yacht Brittania to go over to Norway, but no, they would get a penalty, so they end up on the ferry with the other teams. Burgess and Meredith slide around on the deck while the lemurs have fun with the captain on the bridge.

Tripp, trapp, tripp, trapp, went the police dogs first over the bridge to Troldhaugen, but it was up to the Two Bulls Gruff to spot little Alejandrito hiding under the bridge.

He gives them their final clue: to head to the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. The others get their next clue: take their marked taxi to Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics and find the Ski Jump.
 
The second Bergen ferry has arrived, and the Russian Blues, Stravinsky and Zhivago, catch the first funicular along with the corgis and the penguins. The lemurs, as usual, stop to dance around and waste time.

While all this is going on, Ernesto and Fermin have arrived in Oslo, to meet Robert Plant and a Norwegian Fjord Horse at the Viking Museum.

“Congratulations, Ernesto and Fermin, you’re the first team to arrive. You’ve won a trip to the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, which you can enjoy after the race. Nice hats, guys.” Fermin moos.
 
Hercules and Maxx arrive first in Lillehammer to find their clue, a Road Block.

“A Road Block is a task which only one team member can perform.”

In this Road Block, one team member is going to have to ride a zip line from the top of the ski jump to the bottom. Hercules signs right up and goes zipping down. Douglas gives the reluctant Bella her soccer ball, which she holds in her mouth the whole way down.

Their next clue is the Pet Stop at the Viking Ship Museum, and off they go.

Tripp, trapp, tripp, trapp go the little corgis over the Troldhaugen bridge, as the Russian Blues follow. The police dogs, Bella and Douglas, arrive in Oslo and are given Viking hats. Bella is not too thrilled at this, as she remembers the legend of the Vikings on the Isle of Man. Burgess flaps his wings down the ski jump, Zhivago meows, and Ibrahim and Omara arrive in Oslo. Larry clowns.
 
The teams make their way into the Viking Ship Museum one by one. Joey and Larry, last.

“Joey and Larry, I’m sorry to tell you that you’re the last team to arrive. However, this is a Non-Elimination Round and you’re still in the Amanxing Race."
