Remaining teams: Bella and Douglas (Chicago Cats) Climber and Pinta (Brown County Cats) Fancy Feast and Chef's Blend (Friskies Spokesperson Cats) Hedley and McClurg (Skunks) Mei Xiang and Tian Tian (Panda Bears) "Except for you." He picks up the white Fancy Feast cat by the scruff of the neck. "Lighten up, Fancy Feast. You may be a very attractive cat, but you are the definition of the Ugly American. What were you thinking when you hissed at that Persian? That might be one of your cousins! And I hear you've done nothing but cause problems everywhere you've been. Now if I hear of any more trouble from you, Fanny Feast, you're going straight to the stockade and you'll be An unrepentant Fancy Feast and Chef's Blend are the first two to leave by the dawn's early light the next day. They receive their instructions: to go back to the Tehran airport, where they will catch one of two Stealth Bomber flights to a location to be announced while they are in the air. They take off with the skunks and Bella and Douglas. The skunks, Douglas, and Chef's Blend play with Finally, the pairs receive their next instructions: They're going to parachute down into the Himalyan mountains, to the summit of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Each pair gets into their parachute with help from Air Force staff, Fancy Feast scratching and clawing all the way. And it's GERONIMO! The skunks go first, the cats follow, and the nervous pandas go last. At the Mount Everest summit, the teams find a Detour.
The skunks choose Flying Saucer and start down immediately. They're followed by Team Chicago and Climber and Pinta in another saucer, and the pandas in a toboggan. Fancy Feast refuses to go in a saucer - she might get snow on her fur. She insists on hiding under the front part of the toboggan, leading Chef's Blend to have to steer all by himself. He The teams go flying down the side of the mountain. Lucky McClurg and Hedley have figured out how to use their tails as makeshift sails, and the wind carries them out in front. They're at least a mile in front of the cat pairs. Climber and Pinta have turned backwards. Oh no! The de-clawed Douglas has lost his grip and has fallen off the saucer! Bella has to scrape him out of the snow. While that's happening, the pandas pass them up, their greater weight propelling the toboggan faster. Climber and Pinta are The skunks come barrelling into the base camp Pet Stop, where they're met by Sir Edmund Hillary holding a Himalayan cat in his lap. "Welcome to Mount Everest!" says the first man to conquer the summit. "Congratulations, Hedley and McClurg. For finishing first in this leg, you've won a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park!" They give high-fives, and cheer on their Black/White Alliance panda pals who come in second. Next are Finally, Chef's Blend and Fancy Feast arrive, Fancy Feast hissing because she got snow on her fur. "Fancy Feast, Chef's Blend," says host Phil Kiwi, "you're the last team to arrive. However, this is a non-elimination round. You can stay in the race." Were those howls from the rest of the teams, or the viewers at home? At the Golestan Palace in Tehran, Iran, the racers have an official briefing with Secretary of State Colin Powell. "I want to commend most of you racers for being great ambassadors for America," he says. "In particular, I want to congratulate Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, who represent all immigrants to the United States, and Hedley and McClurg. There's no native American animal that inspires more prejudice than the skunk, but you two have conducted yourselves in the best possible fashion despite people's pre-conceived notions. Good luck in the rest of the race, and I'll see you back home!"

a ball, Bella sleeps, and Fancy Feast sulks in the corner. The pandas and Climber and Pinta leave a half-hour later, but their pilot flies especially fast and catches up with the first plane. 
A DETOUR is a choice between two different ways to accomplish a goal or reach a destination. On the surface, one may seem easy but involves some sort of twist; the other may seem difficult, but in the end may be the quicker or less expensive choice. 
They have two options to go down the mountain to the Base Camp Pet Stop. In "Flying Saucer," the teams will share a round metal saucer, while in "Two-Boggan" they will share a standard toboggan sled. The saucers go faster, but are more difficult to control and often, the rider gets flipped around backwards.
