Part 2 At the finish area, all the other teams are waiting, and they begin to cheer as Sir Edmund Hillary and Climber, who have climbed halfway up Koko is in front of the finish line, signing madly "All Ball cat black cat All Ball cat black cat black white bear black white bear no bad white cat no bad white cat." The skunks swish their tails, as does Skinny Boy, but Smoky has no tail to swish. Cassie sits on Monarchos' back. Klondike and Snow roar, War Emblem and Monarchos whinny, and Spotty and Barney bark like crazy. Bella and Douglas run past the Air and Space Museum, the National Mei Xiang and Tian Tian lumber down the Mall, but they aren't fast enough to catch the leaders, who are just steps from the finish line. Bella hesitatingly puts her paw over the line, while Douglas enthusiastically jumps over the line. The older man steps forward. He is the winner of the most amazing race of the 20th century: Neil Armstrong. "That's one small step for a Manx, one giant leap for Douglas. Congratulations, Bella and Douglas! You're the winners of the Amanxing Race!"
Phil Kiwi has an announcement: Everyone is invited to Spotty and Barney's house for a post-race farewell party! They start to leave, but Pinta points out that Fancy Feast and Chef's Blend have just exited the Capitol. Chef's Blend is running his hardest, but Fancy Feast is prancing with her nose in the air, waving to her imaginary fans. The orange kitty comes to the finish line. Fancy Feast takes 10 War Emblem looks at Klondike. Spotty looks at Tian Tian. They all look at Koko. Koko goes over to Fancy Feast and signs "Bad white cat, bad white cat." She hisses at Koko. War Emblem sneaks up behind the pair and picks up Fancy Feast in his mouth, gallops down to the Reflecting Pool, and hurls Fancy Feast in!
As the sun sets over the Potomac, the racers (including a sulking, tomato-juice colored Fancy Feast) gather on the lawn of the White House for their final picture and to congratulate Bella and Douglas on their victory. Written by Becky Banfield

the Monument, announce "It's the Manx and the black cat! They're out in front!" Sean Connery, in his kilt again, shouts "A Douglas! A Douglas!" the traditional Scottish Clan Douglas war cry. The Bee Gees start singing traditional Manx songs. Colin Powell, Tiger Woods, Yoko Ono, Andy Garcia, and Mikhail Gorbachev all cheer politely. Andy gives Gorby a well-deserved dirty look. There is also an unidentified older man from Ohio waiting. 
Gallery of Art, and the Smithsonian Castle. When they get past the carousel, another enormous cheer goes up as Hillary yells "The pandas! The pandas are second!" Meanwhile, back at Reagan National, Fancy Feast is released and the Gruesome Twosome head to the Capitol. 
Everyone cheers and congratulates the winners, and then Bella and Douglas join the group as they cheer for the pandas. "Tranquillity base here, the Pandas have landed," says Neil. "Congratulations, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, you're the second-place finishers of the Amanxing Race!" 
more minutes to get there. "Congratulations, Chef's Blend and Fancy Feast, you're the third-place finishers of the Amanxing Race! The race is over!" says Neil. Fancy Feast hisses at Neil. 
All the racers cheer, especially Chef's Blend. As soon as Fancy Feast climbs out of the pool, though, she sees Hedley and McClurg with tails upraised. "RUN FER YER LIVES," yells Sean, and everyone gets in front of the skunks. Neil puts on his space suit. OH NO! Fancy Feast isn't so fancy now!
