| Sonny is Louis, Jr.—younger brother of Dot and Sis. He's 7 years old at the start of 1945, going to Shields Elementary School. Lou would become a star basketball player at Kelly High, when the family, after Dot and Sis got married, moved back to the Brighton Park neighborhood. He served in the Navy overseas, and then attended the University of Illinois. He has had a long career as a public school teacher. Lou now has a family and lives in the Chicago area. |
