Merle

Merle Lodding was a neighbor from Dot's Brighton Place home (near 40th St. and Archer Avenue)—where the famly lived before moving to the Englewood neighborhood. She lived on the second floor of their two-flat (picture below). Sis remembered Merle as a "real nice, kind of shy person".
