Hal Totten
Hal lived right next door to Dot. He was a good friend of Jim Parks— one of the guys Dot was dating throughout 1945.

Hal (Harley Totten) passed away in 2008 at the age of 80. More here.

In front of Dot's building, at 61st & Normal Blvd., in 1946. A Kroger's grocery store (attached to a meat market) is right across the street. Hal had recently joined the Navy, and was home on leave.
